Gray’s Piano World is the shop front for highly respected piano Tuner and Technician Gavin Gray. A qualified tuner for over 27 years, Gavin currently maintains instruments for Victorian Opera, Melbourne University and Bennett’s Lane, amongst others, and has previously taught piano technology at a tertiary level. A professional musician in his own right, Gavin lends a musicians ear and sensibility to the care of every instrument.

We stock a range of imported Japanese made pianos (principally Yamaha and Kawai) as well as a selection of fine antique and older style pianos to suit beginner players through to professionals.

 

In recent news, we are very proud to announce that we have this year welcomed Donald Stewart of Broken Wind Instrument Repairs, and Wendy’s Music school into our store premises.

Wendy’s Music, run by Wendy and Howard Brentnall, is a well established and flourishing music school, with three other studios already in the Melbourne area.
